Complaint Review: Plattner Automotive Group

Beware of Mr. Plattner and his organization. I was hired as a Manager, promised a commission, and he failed to not only pay me but other employees as well. Also if you are thinking of buying a vehicle from any of his 9 locations go elsewhere. He charges the usual dealer fee but tacks on an additional $399.00 for nitrogen in the tires, pinstripes, and door guards. Not one car sold while I was there had pinstripes or door guards. And yesterday the company that leases them the nitrogen machine came and repossesed it due to non-payment. He not only is ripping off employees but customers as well. He then tells employees not to sell a vehicle to anyone who does not have an email or gives them a perfect survey. While there vendors called every day looking for payment of services. Even the Manheim Auction called demanding payment for cars Mr. Plattner bought and did not pay for. Ford and other manufactuerers discourage dealers from enticing buyers for perfect surveys but these guys do it all the time. In short, stay as far away from any Plattner dealership because you will be ripped off and for God's sake do not even consider working for this organization because you will not get paid.
