Where do I begin? I was promised $1500 draw every 2 weeks in writing by the company-Doug Plattner without notice cut it to $1000 every 2 weeks with out notice-I was in much need of work so me and the other manager who hired in the same day I did just bit the bullet
Me and the other manager hired in with me "Smelled" something because the prior management crew told Plattner to go "Screw" himself-why you might ask-Found out they didn't get paid there draw checks
After almost 1 year working and busting my butt for him-now it is my turn to "Screwed" by Doug Plattner-he decides not to pay me my 2nd sreaw check at the end of the month-meaning I would have to wait 30 days in between draw checks with no guarantee I would be getting one in the middle of April
I called my office manager in and all she said to was "sorry" I got no warning I wasn't getting my draw check until pay day-I worked over 100 hours in 2 weeks and did not get anything
I file unemployment for reasons they did not pay me-Now the office manager appealed this saying I didn't work things out with them-What the hell-we had a closed door meeting (me and the office manager) to discuss this issue-I told her I want my draw check and she said there is nothing she can do about it.
Now the appeal is a living hell to go through-I'am not going to quit-This company is ruthless,unprofessional-They are cut off from about every vendor because they don't pay them-Try being the parts manager or a sales manager like me wanting something done from and outside source-they laugh at you while your on the phone with them.
Red Flag aswell on Plattner's inventory dollars-he mix and mashes dollars per car around the whole 11 dealerships-you never know what you are working from
Isn't there a state tax issue here!!!!! as well as any bonuses to be made which I rarely recieved I work over 100 hours and 1 draw pay period and recieved nothing-Keep in mind this comes from a guy who eats his lunch at a old school desk like a little kid-something is not right about him
Do Not Go to work for the Plattner Group unless you like being cheated,lied to etc

i was a finance manager at plattner's tarpon springs store. another manager stole some money and quit. doug plattner blamed all the managers in the store even thoughhe knew who did it. he has refused to pay me my $2400. he did not accuse me of stealing or even fire me, i kept working there. the he refused to pay me bevause he said someone has to cover my loss. this man is a thief. he just just reach into someones pokcket and stel your hard earned pay. even though he has millions. Mr. Plattners middle name is Decker, from Black & Decker tools. he is just cheap and gets his kicks hurting inocent people.

I can't help you but my son just bought from them. I sent my sister, who just graduated Stetson Law, with my son the following day with questions on the warranty and term of the loan (it was suposed to be 60 months but was 72). He said that he had to rewrite the contract because $1,000 in rebates was no longer available. My son and sister agreed as long as that $1,000 was taken off the top of the price. I looked over the paperwork and discovered that they took off $2,000 in rebates but only $1,000 off the top price. My sister is not a lawyer yet because she needs to take the bar, but they obviously don't care if they deceive and were not intimidated by my sister's degree. Also, They have some goofy business structure. They are listed on the Florida Division of Corporations as Plaza Dodge and the only officer is Michael Pappas. Good luck.
