I signed up at Plenty of Fish, a dating site, after a friend of mine met someone on the site. I never got a nibble on this site and after a couple of months..gave up on it and forgot about it.   I never sign up for an automatic renewal, yet a couple of days ago I found my bank had been tapped by Plenty of Fish for a renewal for $51.  I immediately emailed the site..no response.  I emailed again..no response.  There was a partial phone number associated with the bank charge, so I did a google search and found the full number.  Sadly, the search associated this number with a number of frustrated people who were complaining about getting charged and no one responded to thier calls.  I called anyway..and guess what..no one returned my call.  The charge is still pending in my bank account.  My next move will be to complain to the BBB and the State Attorney General's office.  Too bad, I thought these people legit, but they seem to be just another ripoff.
