Plunge Plunge constantly breaking down Lincoln California

On December 14th 2022, I bought a plunge (XL / Hot & Cold plunge / Pro) via www.plunge.com for $8,025.54. It arrived on January 11th 2023 (Order #13043). 

 

Despite my efforts to maintain the product as per their guidelines and multiple repairs, it has consistently failed to function as advertised, leading to a significant inconvenience and dissatisfaction.

 

 I’ve had to file 11 complains over the past year on the following dates:

 

1/26/23 (case 15578): Power strip was broken and had to be replaced. 

2/14/23: Maintenance

4/4/23: Issue with the breaker

7/9/23 (case 29217): Power strip was broken and had to be replaced. 

7/21/23 (case 30692): Issue with the flow

9/3/23 (case 4826): Issues with Power strip

9/13/23 (case 2581): Power strip not working

9/13/23 (case 36516): Power strip not working

10/22/23 (case 13687): Cleaning support

11/21/23 (case 19865): Needed a chiller and inkbird replacement

5/24/24: Cooling unit not working

 

The product has been subject to eleven documented complaints within a year of purchase, indicating recurring malfunctions despite repeated professional interventions.

 

Key complaints and service requests include, but are not limited to, failures of the cooling unit, numerous instances requiring technical repairs, and continuous operational inefficiency even after repairs.

 

Recent examination by a certified electrician confirmed the cooling unit is non-operational, rendering the plunge unusable.

 

My ongoing communication with their support team, including detailed email threads and support tickets, highlights the extent of the product's issues and my proactive steps to resolve these through appropriate channels.

 

Despite following every instruction provided by their representatives and utilizing recommended maintenance products and procedures, the fundamental issues remain unaddressed.

 

Given the recurring nature of these problems and the considerable amount spent on this premium product, it is both reasonable and necessary to request a full refund. The attached documentation and correspondence logs substantiate the chronic nature of the defects and my extensive attempts to seek resolution.
