PM Identity, Private Matters Identity Deceiptive, automatic charges while obtaining "free" credit report Internet
I was online obtaining a "free" credit report, through Credit Diagnostic website. 2 days later I discovered my debit card had been charged by Privacy Matters Identity. I went online & could not cancel on website. Called and held for over 30 minutes trying to get a person on the phone, then I was informed they could not issue a confirmed cancelation number.
This company is very deceptive, being hidden in other websites. You never see/read anything about this company until the charges show up on your account.
I was informed they would not refund my money, although I never used their service.
What a way to rip people off @ 29.95 per month with an automatic renewal.
