PMA, EAA Ripoff Did not respond to phone request fax number does not answer no refund Denton Texas
I purchased a Renewal subscription to Woman's Day from a young woman named Amanda Brisen on April 16, 2005. I wrote my check for $46.00. When the renewal - due Sept. 2005, - did not arrive, I called Woman's Day. They told me to contact the company that I paid - they were not responsible.
I looked up the endorsement on the back of my check which showed E.A.A. Inc. in Denton, TX. When I called them, they told me to find my receipt to get the ticket number. They advised they were now "handling" this matter. I called them in Oct. 2005 with the ticket info but received no response at all.
Today, I called the E.A.A, Inc. number again on a "last chance" thought of getting this resolved. I was given a new phone number, supposedly PMA. I was told to fax a copy of the ticket (and my check if I wanted) to this fax number. I made several attempts but the fax "was not answering". I called back and got the same number and another fax numberwhich did not answer either.
I am going to keep trying and will call again tomorrow. Now this is mostly a matter of principle. If I find out anything more, I will update this file.
