I ordered magazines from these kids before and I thought it took an awful long time to get my magazines the first time I ordered. It was about 4 months.

Well, now they have my name and address and when they are in town they show up at my door. I ordered magazines twice last summer 2005 from the kids the haul out in vans. I am out about $150.00 and still no magazines.

No one answers the phone, the web site has been under construction for months and I am not happy..

I am ready to put an article in my local newspaper to warn people about this van full of kids and their sob story that they want to win a trip.. They are slick too. They joke with you and show you all kinds of credentials and everything.

I will kick the next kid off the porch, sorry for him/her and tell them to get on the next bus home to their mom and dad because the are working for a con artist.

Help me if you can. I want to get the word out on these people.

Amy, you are not alone. The fact that you recieved magazines in an earlier encounter was,in fact, luck. You may still get a refund or these latest orders may arrive. Its a toss of the dice. Most folks do not toss dice at a 150 dollars a pop.Unless of course you happen to be a magcrew mgr.As opportunity presents itself,be sure to communicate your experience with your neighbors.Let them know that these young salesgroups almost always are required to work with a permit. Not just the carhandler driving the van...ALL are required! Many crimes, including murder have been committed by mag salespeople;one of many reasons why authorities want to know they are in town.I learned this business alongside the owner of this company, and rest assured he is not concerned with your plight. His top priority is the constsant recruitment of young bodies taught to extract cash from Americas doorsteps. The next time they knock, call the authorities...it will keep your neiborhood safer and give a young person a chance to think about possibly going home from a nowhere job.Good luck.Getabunch.
