2)  We will keep you close to home.  No more than 2 hours drive...LIE

3)  You can make 50,000 per year your first year...NOT WITH THEIR HELP

4)  'We are so covered up that we need reps'....LIE

5)  You will have complete support and training from our staff..LIE

6)  You are 'your own boss'---if you do it THEIR way!

Run, my friends!  Run as fast as you can from this 'opportunity'!

What state? I was lied to in Florida

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

In 2016 I was met by a recruiter. He said the same thing to me.

My area in Florida would be SOUTH of Orlando and the Tampa bay area North.

Or two hours from my home. I would have four days a week in reseller business, because

they were rolling in existing business that was pre-existing, and I would have good training.

What I quickly found after they had me on the THIRD training day?

The Bay County Teacher's Union dumped them in the Panhandle for a better company and

they were down 20% in business revenue in Florida. So they told we three new agents:

"we older agents are not going to sacrifice the $100,000 plus a year income we have been

making with the trips to Ireland and other countries. You get NO RESELLING BUSINESS unless

you go out (free of charge) and find new business for the company. You will GIVE this business to all the

agents in the company and get a 3% for the first year. (But the agents all get renewals, you dont.)

This was good enough for we new agents. The district manager who married the regional manager

(he was the used car automotive business) got new business and he sat on it himself to write the business and

get his own renewal.

We were told the regional mgr had custody of her children two weeks out of the year so she and her new husband stayed at home. He lied and refused training, told you to read a manual, wouldnt help me do set up in my computer and I had to drive without a booking to watch someone else on their commissioned work day talk and do sales in their computer.

I was lied to about the sales area. They lied about my territory. It is a bait and switch. They want you to drive over the WHOLE STATE OF FLORIDA as most the business is in the northern half of state. When I reminded them of the recruiter's statement, the nasty district husband did not give me work for 2 1/2 weeks. you are expected to stay in hotel rooms and that came out of the training money $500 that they paid the first week. Of course when I quit because a 14 year old car that had mechanical problems in Orlando with radiator repair (bad roads getting road construction rocks pinged holes in radiator) ate up the $500 with the hotel stay, and no commission because you are not getting paid commission while being trained.

They keep your license hostage, bait and switch the territory and district mgr calls the African American corporate hiring man a liar and idiot . Well, good guy bad guy doesnt pay your bills.

And now I have a mark against me in vertafore that is keeping me from getting another job or annuity commission.

If small claimns is under $200, file in court, and drag those slobs off the road and invite the news media in for a story.

I should check and see if I have an EEOC complaint even though I am self employed contractor.

I was working at a large Bank when the recession hit, at the time I was not endanger of loosing my Job in fact I was working my way up the ladder rapidly.  I found myself killing myself for a company that really just regarded me as a number.  I put my resume out there to see if there were any other opportunities possibly one where I could create a career where I could be more than a number.

I met with a gentleman in a hotel conference room who challenged me to become a part of something greater than myself while helping people during their greatest time of need.  I asked many questions that ranged from how the pay works and what was required of me.  He simply responded that nothing was required of me and that I would be an independent contractor. All they could do is motivate me and if I was not afraid of hard work they could teach me how to follow a work schedule and a marketing method that has unpatrolled results.

I am glad to report that here I am 3.5 years later and it was everything they promised.  I have had the opportunity to find financial independent, travels to exotic local; my wife and I have made some lifelong friends.  However, I must say by far that the best gift that this opportunity has afforded me is the gift of time.  I am able to spend uninterrupted, quality time with my wife and three small children.
