PMIDENTITY.COM Fradulent Charge to Account Internet
I noticed a charge on my account from this company (pmidentity.com or privacymatters.com). I do not use their services and had never visited their site. The charge appeared in my account as AP9*PMIDENTITY.COM-V 888-840-6301.
I just filed the claim with my bank today. The bank will ask you to contact the company first. Thanks to other online posts and a quick google search I discovered that the 888 numbers they give out are automated lines that eventually lead to asking you for your credit information to verify your account. Thanks to all who made this process much easier.
If you should happen to be fraudulently charged by this company, just print out some of the "rip-off reports" and other online testimonials for your bank.
