Back in Sept. of 06 I began to experience NSF charges totaling $116.00. I went into the bank and spoke to a customer rep.. I told her ( her name escapes me )I didn't under stand how this was happening. She said she could give me credit for one of the charges $33.00 and said the computer would only allow her to only her to give one credit, she reached down to get a register book and said I should use it to avoid and further overdrafts.

I told her I had one thanked her for giving me the one fee back. I still couldn't understand that one because my book said I had the money there. I left it alone for awhile because it was giving me a axanity attacked every time I thought about it. I'm on SS and every penny counts for survival.

This week because of yet another overdraft fee $35.00 for being $.73 cents over. I went back looking at every check every payment and every deposit. I found a Stop Payment Fee that was there for for something that wasn't stopped for $31.00. I went in the bank and spoke to a gentlemen whose name escapes men and brought this to his attention. I told him that was the reason for all my overdrafts and that he should fix the error for the day it was charged and all the overdraft fees should be reg funded. He said O no he can't do that and that he could only give me the credit that day. I said wait a min. that isn't proper banking practices. He told me he wouldn't do that.

I asked he if there was anyone else I could talk to to get this resolved because rest assured if it was the other side I would have to pay with interest. He gave me a phone number to call and I asked him if it was one of those push buttons for what seem a lifetime and he assured me it wasn't.

I called the number and it was press this button for this press this button for that. I think any bank anywhere should be charged for loan sharking charging $35.00 for a .73 cent overdraft that shouldn't be there in the first place because of a error the bank made back on 8/16.
