Pocono Bike Rental owner is a fraud and is verbally abusive White Haven, Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania
The owner, Tom, provided perhaps the worse customer service experience I have EVER had. This began with a lack of clear information on his terribly convoluted website, and the inability of providing information or confirmation numbers after a group of 8 purchased rentals and shuttle. After a few of us called and emailed to get information from him, I finally sent a text response to one of his spam texts to my cell and that spiraled downhill. I asked for confirmation that my group was together on the correct date and he and his staff were following Covid protocols (masks/social distancing). He told me to stop contacting him, that I was needy and a "pain in the a*s".
He intimidated me and told me not to give him any attitude when I showed up and he would pretend that nothing happened. In reference to masks, he said he doesn't wear one and it's personal choice for anyone riding the shuttle and proceeded to call me a "clone drone zombie controlled by the leftist media". My friends and I decided for our health and safety to cancel our reservation and go with another outfitter.
