My husband booked a 16 foot container to move from Sparks NV to Brandon FL. The container was delivered to our home in Nevada on 3/24 and picked up on 3/31 and was supposed to be delivered on 4/15 in Florida.  Our initial delivery schedule was 4/14 but we called on 3/22 to change it to 4/15 via a live rep.

We only had to acknowlege the rental agreement once when we initially made our reservation.  When we left Nevada, we called the customer service to understand the estimated time of delivery.  We were told that the estimated time of arrival is not available till the day before. We called again on 4/13 a day early but was given the same standard answer. We arrived at our destination on 4/14 and called the customer service again.

This time we were told the container never left the origin location after it was picked up on 3/31.  The rep told us he did not see anything wrong and that it would not be delivered another 2 weeks.  We paid $7000 for the container and now we have to spend another $3000 for 2 week stay at a hotel plus my husband could not start his new job for 2 weeks due to his tools unavailable (still in the container).

I called back and this time another rep told us that the delay was due to us not signing the rental agreement in time and also that was why our delivery was cancelled.   We called PODS again and another rep told us we signed the rental agreement at 7:45pm on 3/31.  So it was not too late or after the business hours as the previous rep informed us. 

Yet PODS cancelled our delivery without any prior notice. The customer service created a case # and we received a standard email from a resolution specialist but 2 weeks later I have never heard back with the final answer.  Every rep told us different stories and we received so many conflicting text messages regarding deliveries.

Moreover, the rep we spoke with on 4/14 told us that she issued $600 credit but later on it was removed.  So we received zero refund even though we did not do anything wrong.
