Public Service Announcement. Do NOT ever use PODS Moving and Storage! I have been dealing with HELL for the past 5 months. First they called me 30 minutes before I arrived in Denver and informed me that their Truck broke down, they wouldn’t be able to deliver my furniture the next morning, and they were backed up for 2 weeks before they could deliver it. I had to pay the movers I had lined up to unload the truck due to the less than a 24 hour cancellation.

Then, when my Visa bill arrived, I was DOUBLE billed for the change of date as they “pre bill” their service. I’ve been in dispute with them for months. I finally called Visa to help resolve this. Visa issued me a credit, while it was being investigated. They found the dispute in my favor. I thought it was resolved. Then the next month I was charged again by PODS. I called Visa again, and was told that the charge was being reversed. Again, I thought that was behind me.

I called PODS to access my Storage Unit in Chicago when I come into town. (I pay a monthly fee, and it is separate from the move.) They told me that my account is “locked and frozen”, because of the moving dispute. I cannot gain access to my stuff. They are holding my stuff hostage! BEYOND FRUSTRATED!! These people are thieves!
