Poetry.com has stolen my poem Owings Mill Maryland
I submitted a poem July 2006. It was to be recited at the next symposium that Fall. I was never contacted after the syposium. I called Poetry.com and ask about my poem. I was told there wasn't any record of my poem being submitted. It was submitted via internet. I was stupid. That was one of my best poems. Someone took that poem and claimed it to be theirs. When I find out who that person is I will press charges. Poetry.com is nothing but a scam to make money off of anyone foolish enough to believe them. Anyone that would take someone's work and claim it to be theirs is a thief. I am very disappointed and upset about this encounter. I will never submit anything to Poetry.com again.
