Complaint Review: Poetry.Com

I enter my peom in the poetry contest, which they stated it was free. I won a trophy and a chace to participate in the convention held in Florida. They charge me to purchase a book with my poem of 57.45, they turn around sells the book for there benefit. My work is in there,why don't I received anything.

Now I'am disable and have no ource of income and because of that I cannot travel to the convention which is 595.000 to register, not including travel fees. So they told me to get my trophy and have my poem read it will 169.00 dollars to do so. Thats like pay for a trophy I already won.

Since I cannot be there I can't be apart of the contest, at the convention. So I will pay that money for nothing, and how would I know if they even read the poem, make me wonder is there really a convention, or this was just a scheme to get innocent people beleived they accomplished something to get there hard earn money for there personal benefit.

The book with the poem I wrote from the heart, because I was nearly kill. The first copy should have been free to poets who have there work in it. A charge could have been for each additional copy they may order.
