Poetry.com is hurting millions of innocent, young, and talented people such as myself. They are out to steal money. Some people report that they are "great" but this is the honest truth.

One day I was surfing the web and came across this site. I thought it would be fun to enter one of their contest so I entered. Weeks later as they said they were happy to inform me that I was a winner. I was surprised and never thought anything about what if it isnt real.At that time though we didnt have the time or money to do anything or buy a book.

About a year later I entered again. After entering I got the same letter. The same words except the book name was different. Never thought anything of it until I got an invitation to go to Disney World for a convention. All of these famous people were supposed to be there and I would have a great chance of winning. I read it over and over until I noticed the fine print hidden in the letter. It stated that the days may variously change and that no refunds would be available. That is when I started researching this company.

I found and read many stories of people who had been hurt just like me except paid and got very upset when told it had been cancelled. I felt used. I blocked anything that was from www.Poetry.com and hadnt received a thing until two days ago. I got news on my poem. I was supposed to read my poem in front of millions of people at another convention and was promised a trophy this time and possibly a big cash award. Thats when I found this site.

I want to warn others before they are used.... DO NOT EVER SUBMIT ONE OF YOUR POEMS AT POETRY.COM! You will regret it like I do. I have four unpublished poems and I feel used by older freaks!

Yeah that's all true, but I'm writing this also to say that... the so-called winning poems on their website (the ones that won 10,000 or more etc) are just terrible. That's even more proof poetry.com is a complete scam, along with everything else.
