I just wanted to say that I've been reading alot of these rip-off reports and the same thing has happened to me, 3 times.

I fell for it the first time and purchased a book, my poem was on the first page. I had also received a letter stating I'm in the semi-finals for the $1,000 contest. Never heard from them after that.

Six months later I received another letter regarding another poem of mine that is in the semi-finals for the cash prize and to be published in a book.

Well I didn't beleive the cash prize this time but I bought the first book because the poem was about my first 2 children born.

Now this second poem they wanted to publish was about my 3rd child, so I felt I needed to have that book in my home too. So they could see it when they were older.

They also said I could be poet of the year in 2004 & 2005 but I had to go to the conference. Or I could pay for the cost of the "bowl" award and they would send it to me.

The third time I received a letter from them, I opened it to see what it said (same as always) then I threw it in the trash.

Any way I think it's a big scam, they set people up just to let them down.

I want to know, if my poems are good enough for their books & cd's, and good enough for me to pay $600 for a conference & award then how come it's not good enough for the monthly cash prize?

Sorry about this being so long, I only wanted to say that now I know I'm not the only one this company has messed with, then I just get on a role because I'm so ticked off about it.
