Complaint Review: Poetry.com

I feel ripped-off by poetry.com. After being seperated from my wife and three small children, in a depressed mood i did something i hadn'y done for 25 years: i wrote a poem. I submitted my poem to poetry.com to win money. I needed to win.

But i didn't win. So i Submitted two more poems and didn't win there either. But in the mean time I did receive the flattering form letter and in a moment of weakness ordered the book my poem was to be "featured" in.

I have since recieved invitations to conventions asking me to reserve hotel accomedations, and to send money to recieve awards and to have my poems read by a "pro".

I received another convention invitation the week after Christmas,2003. I have also submitted one more poem and it goes like this:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Send me my book
or I'm gonna sue.
