They sent me a letter stating I was a semi finalist. And invited to the convention and would be receiving a formal invitation by mail.

The very next day I received a letter saying we're sorry you won't be able to attend. Please send $169 plus postage and handling and we'll send your awards. So I never had the chance to even decide if I wanted to go or not.

It's all a scam, you don't "win" anything.

These people pick EVERY sumbission as a "winner". That's h*o they get money from you and everyone for your "awards".

Another thing they do is publish your "winning" poetry in a book along with all the other "winners" and offer for you to buy the book. You are making money for them by purchasing the book.

It's all a scam, you don't "win" anything.
