i signed up for a club pogo free 2 week trial october 19, 2006. the information stated that i would be charged nothing until the end of the trial (november 2, 2006), and then only if i did not cancell the membership. i learned from my bank that on october 30th, pogo put a hold on my account in the amount of $39.99 (the cost of a 6 month membership) which caused an overdraft fee from my bank of $32. i contacted pogo and requested that they credit my bank account with the $32 overdraft fee or reinstate my club pogo (which i had cancelled the day i heard from the bank) for the $7.99 difference.

i have contacted them 3 times, with only automated responses stating that they have received my contact and will get in touch with me. pogo did not actually make any money off me, but i ended up paying $32 for a 'free' trial due to the overdraft fee. pogo misrepresented the fact that you are not charged anything before the end of the trial.

Thank you for your suggestion of a what could have been a good explanation for pogo. However, I am positive that it was only supposed to be a trial. I suppose they have changed their policy sometime after you used the trial. If you will check on pogo's site, you will notice that they now require a credit card, check card, or such simply for the trial to take effect.

thats weird because i always play on pogo. i even used the two week trial then a few months later i decided to buy a month. are you sure you didn't by chance buy it instead of get the two week trial. because at the end of the trial you should have got a email asking if you want to be part of the club if you click on that then you have to put in a credit card or some thing. but the trail they never asked for a credit card.
