A real personable guy came by with what seemed like a real fund raiser. I normally don't give people money at the door but he seemed very nice. I almost hesitated but he was rather charming and said he was opening up a business here in Tulsa, OK and we would see it soon, a steak house. I believed him. My stub does say to allow 90 - 150 days and that seems odd. I have an invoice # of 165648 and the date is 4/21/07 by Team # 111 with a name Anthony Stover.

I won't be giving anyone any money at all not even a small child selling anything unless they have it with them. I gave this guy $40.00 but supposedly he let me off of the total $48.00 because of some silly reason. I knew deep down inside that I was getting ripped off probably but a friend of mine came to the door and works for the public school system and said she had heard of this type of sales for entrepeneur's (sp?).

There is a phone # on the ticket, I may just call it, but it is 903-429-3300, oh and guess what no answer at least at 1026 Central time, imagine that. I supposedly got them 500 points. What a joke!

I'm sorry if I came across rude. However, unlike you I don't appreciate premature complaints "wrong" and undeserving from anyone on the internet. That is what our customer service is for. We want to talk to our customers. We want to know how the agent was at your home. We want you to fully understand the agreement when you chose to sponsor our agents. We want the opportunity to talk with you before it gets FOREVER posted on the internet. We want to respond ONLY to legitimate complaints that we can apologize for and fix.

I want everyone to walk away happy and with this site I receive so many insults that I don't deserve and want to resolve by getting back. By telling everyone we are human. We are a small office working hard in a very hard industry that changes everyday. It's hard to make everyone happy, and we do our best.

So THANK YOU TAMI for your much appreciated response. I hope now that all is resolved that you are assured that this was not a scam. You did help with points and you did receive your magazine as stated on your receipt. That is all I care about.

Dear Owner, sorry, but I did not sign the receipt with the wrong address. I have my signed receipt and I can scan it and send it to you if you like. However, if there is another document that I don't have that it was transferred to incorrectly I do not have that. I do realize how important it is, these days, to file non complaints just as important as complaints and I did appreciate this website as it gave me a forum to voice this complaint. I used to be in client services in a large reference lab and I like to be accurate and want all the facts good and bad, right or wrong, and like to follow up good or bad.

I realize now that I was a little premature but I did state in the original complaint that they had 90-150 days for delivery, I just got a little antsy about the whole deal and the way it went down. I appreciate your efforts to get the address corrected. Thanks, Tami

We submitted Tami's order to our publisher and the order was returned as undeliverable. I pulled her original receipt and ran it through www.USPS.com to be sure before responding. We researched it ourselves and corrected the address and guess what folks, Tami who complained in JULY when her order was NOT EVEN expected to even start until August or September (Premature complainer) is receiving her magazine since WE fixed her address for her. She signed a receipt with her magazine going to a United States Postal Address that was undeliverable. NOT OUR FAULT FOR NOT READING OUR RECEIPT! If Tami called our office and received our voice mail...we were on the other line assisting other customer's. All calls are returned same day within business hours, if possible. I do however appreciate Tami for her additional response in letting all of you future customers know that she did receive her magazine. We really do "Do our best." We are not perfect by far...but we try! If you think this office is empty...call us! I promise you will talk to someone. If busy we may have to call you back, but we will touch base with you regardless. We love our customer's

Points Across America Scam

ON 4/21/07 I was approached by a person See Original Report. I sent in an official complaint on this website in July of 2007, I believe. In August or September I got my first copy of Running Times. What a conincidence. I am wondering if it was due to this website. Anyway, thanks if so. I haven't received another one, let's see what happens.
