In June of 2009, a man in his 20's came to my door selling magazines to receive points for college.  We bought two magazine subscriptions and paid a total of $110. by check.  We have not received them up to this point so I called the phone number on the receipt and the number has been disconnected.  Contacted the BBB in Dallas, TX., and they couldn't help us because they have tried to contact them by mail and all mail has been returned.  They are at a dead-end.  This is a scam and a rippoff, for sure.

I purchased a 'subscription' from EAA in October of 2005. The receipt said to allow "90 to 120 days for delivery." I contacted the company to ask about my subscription when I had waited 176 days to receive my first issue.

The phone number on the receipt had been disconnected and I got nowhere thru the website, so I mailed a letter. After waiting for almost 6 months for a response, I was contacted by a man named Thomas who explained that the company had sold out to the company he worked for and that his company would make everything right.

I faxed him a copy of the receipt and the cancelled check, but never heard any more from him or received a refund. Just last week, I mailed a letter to the company with a copy of the receipt and cancelled check to three separate addresses I have found for them.

Yesterday, two of the letters were returned with notes from the post office that the letters could not be delivered and there was no forwarding address. The phone numbers I have found for EAA are all disconnected, and 5 years later, I am still out my $46.00.
