We purchased our Polygroup Summer Excapes pool from KMart on May 2, 2012.  We put up the pool as instucted.  Filled it with water and watched the water pour out from a defetive seam.  We contacted Polygroup customer service.  It was a hassle to contact them from the information given with the pool.  We finally found the number on the internet.  Contacted customer service, thank goodness we were still in the ninty day warranty, and it was workmanship problems.  We were told to send them a portion of the pool.  We had to cut it from the pool, wall then send them the cut square.  We paid for postage.  They replaced the pool.

Now is it June 1, 2013...the top inflatable pool ring has been slowly failing for about four months.  It would not hold air.  We tried patching it, hot gluning it, etc.  It would not hold air. fix one leak another would appear.  And you can not use the pool without the top ring inflated.  We called Polygroup to ask for a replace pool.  We were told NO.  The 90 days were past.  This failure is or was the result of the pool ring NOT being UV (ultraviolet) protected, the sun discolered the blue plastic, turning it brown and brittle.  Cracks beginning developing along the length of the ring.   Fix one, inflate the pool ring and another leak would appear.

Following being told the product was only covered with a 90 day warranty, we elected to empty the pool and dispose of it.  I used a small parring knife, I inserted the knife and the whole side wall ripped for about eight to ten feet allowing the whole contects of the pool to flood out, pushing me to the ground and about five feet away from where I had been standing moments before.   As I dismantled the rest of the pool I was able to rip the wall material apart with my hands.  If the wall had failed with a child in the pool they would have been sucked out with the water (roughly 5,000 gallons rushed acrossed lawn).

I guess to sum it up once the 90 days have passed the pool could fail, they don't even think it will last much longer than that..  We were told to just buy a new pool. We thought the pool would last at least a few years.  It didn''t even last a full year.  While we were talking to the customer service, we asked to talk to a supervisor to esclate the problem.  The customer service representative told us the supervisor would just give us the same answer. Finally she tld us a supervisor would call us within 48 hours.  We waited three (3) days o call.  Finally o the fourth (4) days our call was returned, we werer not home.  Whe rambled on about the 90 warrenty, to call he back.  We called hr back, the representative could find any record of our complaint or our calls.  We gave up and took the pool to the dump.
