We found a pomsky breeder that we thought was reputable. The puppies looked healthy and happy and we googled the kennel name to see if there were any complaints or negative reviews and found none. We read through their entire website and facebook. We gave them the amount they asked for to hold the puppy and thought about getting one of the older puppies they had for sale, however we decided later that we no longer wanted either because some circumstances outside of our control. But the breeder said that our money to hold the puppy was nonrefundable even though we read through their entire site and Facebook and nowhere did it say that was the case. Eventually, we just asked that they transfer the amount we had given them to the original puppy we chose and decided to take him. We were to bring the rest of the amount the day we picked him up. The day we were to pick him up they told us they would meet us at a Walmart they wouldn't allow us to visit their home and we knew it was a red flag, but we had already given them $950 for the puppy. We picked up and brought home and since then it's been a nightmare. He's been sick since day one and we took him to the vet twice in the 2.5 weeks we've had him and he's still not healthy. He was originally diagnosed with a bad case of worms and mild kennel cough and he still has bad diarrhea. I have yet to see him have a normal poop and have spent about $300 in vet expenses and we haven't given him any of his shots yet and he still has to back for more tests. The breeder initially blew it off saying puppies get sick and then offered us $500 to take him back, which is like a slap in the face since we've sunk about $2000 in this puppy already. Especially knowing that the breeder will just turn around and sell him for a $1000 and probably pull the same crap on someone else. Please do not buy a puppy from her.

Hi, we at Pomsky Perfection are sorry to hear that you're having a hard time getting and keeping your puppy healthy.  Puppies aren't for everyone.

In response to your statement:

1. Our website does state that the deposit is non-refundable. See our FAQ page.

2. As you have seen, the world is a dangerous place for puppies.  It's for this reason that we don't allow people to physically visit them or come to our home as the risk of disease transfer is too great.  We encourage anyone to video chat with us prior to purchasing a puppy so they can see a puppy's personality and health- things pictures don't always capture.

3. As we are required by law, the puppy was examined by a veterinarian and passed a wellness exam, a health certificate was issued two days prior to transfer of ownership.  The risk of contracting a disease or sickness is not dependent upon the sale price of a pet, whether it's $50 or $5,000.

4. As of today, we haven't received any proof from a veterinarian that the puppy was sick or had worms as the signed health guarantee requires.  If the puppy had diarrhea for over two weeks why weren't we notified until after two weeks and one day since he was taken to his new home?

5. As for the change of heart in getting the older puppy that was already paid in full, Pomsky Perfection actually suggested that we transfer that money towards the younger puppy, that communication was by text and can easily be recalled. Perhaps all of this is actually just a change of heart too?

6. If you don't understand or agree with any or all of the conditions of the health guarantee/ contract then don't sign it.  The $500 mentioned in the complaint is a condition of the health guarantee that you signed and thereby agreed to.
