In 2001 and one we bought a new grand am from Pontiac. The day we bought the vechicle home the rearview mirrors and a wheel hub sensor were broken. At 3639 miles the safety belt had to be replaced.

At 12274 miles the front caliper had to be replaced. At 25673 miles the sensor had to be replaced again, the front rotors had to be replaced and the front brake pads.At30356 miles the front calipers had to be replaced again, calipers were frozen. Now at 43,000 miles the brakes are shot again.

I sent a letter to pontiac about the brake problems and even though they were paid for at the time covered under warranty, I never heard back from pontiac about the faulty braking system.

Now that the vechicle is no longer under warranty and we have to pay to have the problems fixed I think pontiac should be held responsible for the poor workmanship that went into this car.
