Michael, the owner of Poolex in Arizona, sold me 2 Salt Water Chlorinators.  After aprox 6 months, the insulators deteriorated in the titanium exchanger.  They are worth about .50 cents.  They fell off and when I called him to repair, he handed me a bill for $480.  I asked about the warranty, and he blamed me.  The installation was horrible, the unit fell off the wall the first day, and the wiring cord was too short, causing the plastic housing to break.  This was a horrible experience.  Michael is a smooth talking guy, I believed him and it has cost me $1500 because the repairs cost more than the unit.  Stay away from Poolex

The Poolex product is very low maintenance and less expensive compared to a chlorine pool. The Tempe Company has been very helpful, allowing me to call in my water analysis and they will tell me what to do next. My pool has been beautiful for the last six years.  We did have one cell break down due to the high mineral content in Arizona water but we were given a far deal on a replacement. Thx
