I received a letter from this company signed by Sandra Miles, as did several other people who filed reports on this website. It included a cashiers check issued from Union Bank of California (San Francisco) remitted by Sandra Miles. I contacted Union Bank to verify the validity of the check, and apparently the account number is legitimate, but the check number does not appear in their system.

I tried to call the telephone number listed for Samuel Peters the "Claims Manager" but got a voicemail that was full (no surprise there!!). The message said to leave a name and telephone number (which I did not), but that was it.

This is the first scam I received where I was actually sent a check, not just requested to send an amount to receive my "prize". There are obvious grammatical errors in the letter, as well as the cruise line info. It says the trip won (in addition to the $28,500) is for a 6 day, 5 night cruise. The cruise line mentioned in the letter - Imperial Majesty Cruise - only offers 3 day, 2 night cruises. The letter also says the keep this winning as confidential as possible to avoid false claims and double winners.
