Hello aspiring plus-size cutties out if you have seen anything from the POSE Corporation aka People of Size and Elegance please run as fast as you can because they are the biggest liars and con artist that you can lay your eyes on. These people took money from several models for $175 for registration fees and $900 plus dollars in tickets sells. All this money was collected for a show that they promised to happen on June 20 and 21, 2008 that did not happen and was cancelled three days before the event was to take place. I have not recieved any money back from these broke down crooks.

They are refusing to answer phone call all you get is a voice mail they do recieve your email but just may take a month to answer you back. Alanna and J Hill are the owners of this establishment so please do not forget these names because I am sure you will see them again because preditorsm do not go away they just resurface under a new name. These people were very pleasant before collecting the money after they recieved the funds they were very limited on contact with the models and wanted to correspond by email only!!! They were not taking phone calls unless they considered it an emergency. Each model was promise was promise exposure and future modeling, commecial, caledar assignments, etc. I asked for my money to be returned on serveral occassions and have not recieved anything yet so that means that is a refusal. These people need to be stopped so when you run into the Pose Corporation, Alanna Hill, or J Hill do not entertain the thought at all because they not anything that they say they are!

SITUATION RESOLVED

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, December 28, 2009

The money in question was for fees involving an event that had to be canceled due to lack of participation. Money was put up front by the company and we took a loss as a result. We waited until the last minute hoping there would be more participation in order to hold the event. That didn't happen.

To make a long story short, money was returned to models and the situation is resolved and put behind us. We have since revised standards for requirements that do not involve fees.

Thank you

J. Hill
