Complaint Review: POSProfits

POSProfits Suncontracted me to install POS system and never paid. Tyngsborough Internet

I was contacted by Joseph of POSProfits.com to install a POS system that he had sold to someone who is physically closer to me than himself.

I had to travel 50 minutes to reach the install location.  I tried to set up the two new POS stations and could not continue since the software he had installed on these systems required me to have an Internet Connection and the client Lucky Chopsticks in Kingsville, ON did not have a connection where the systems were to be installed. 

I called Joseph from POS profits and he asked me to install what was necessary and he would cover the cost.

I installed a switch, a UPS power supply, wiring, Network jacks and cableing.

I could not complete the install on the second visit since I could not reach Joesph from POS profits by phone.

On the third and final visit, I finished the install and Joeseph asked me not to do any more than basic navigational training to the client. 

The owner told me they wanted me to input all the data in order to tailor the woftware to their liking.  I had to add sales tax rates and table layout and more than 20 items such as discount codes and daily and weekend prices based on age and time of day.  I told them POSProfits would not cover that and they would have to pay me.  I informed Joseph and he at first wanted a commission and then said never mind that was between me and the restaurant.

Well long story short POSProfits never paid the $1300 bill.  I suplied all the parts above and no one would pay.  To make matters worse the client did not pay me to do all the modifications and somehow think they are entitled to free service and should also not have to pay for the UPS I provided. 

I perform this type of remote service for many clients over the years and have never been taken advantage like this before.

I have contacted Joeseph from POSProfits many times and he always had an excuse.  The check was in the mail, he sent it to the wrong address etc.  I hope that people find this posting and do not do business with such a dishonest man.
