I am a business owner in Dallas, TX I have worked with many vendors and property management groups.   I decided that I would get a new location that was retail and move to a more visible location.  I came accross a location down the way from me from a friend/customer of mine that would fit what I was looking for.  I then met the leasing agent by the name of Denny Williams who was the leasing agent for the property.  He seemed nice at first and someone I could rely on.  I worked with him on a property that he insured me that  would work for me, well when I started working with him he sent me an exclusive contract that said I would be the only company he would deal with until the property mangement reviewed our application.  This is called a letter of intent if your not already familiar with the lingo.

Now take in mind I have already another place that I was pretty sure I was going to move in and was my next best choice.  I let him know this as well from the beginning.  He told me that he would let me know right away because I was ready to go with the other place and time was of an essence.  This is where the nightmare began, 2 weeks I haven't heard anything back I called him several times with no response.  I was running out of time for the original spot I got.  I finally called his boss after several times of contacting him and he was repremanded on his actions.  He called me back and wasn't happy about getting talked with and told me that he would handle it for me.

Well another 4 weeks go by of no communitcation and at this point the original spot I wanted was wanting to know if I'm moving in or if they should lease it.   I called back and explained that I have no time left to make a decision.  He told me that he would let me know right away and didn't follow up for another 2 weeks.  Well I believe that being angry about the fact I told his boss he told someone else about the spot I had and endorsed him so I wouldn't get the spot, I no longer had the option of the first spot and he finally called back and told me that they had chose another leasee that was never involved to begin with.  PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS AN UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY THAT DOES NOT HOLD UP TO THEIR CONTRACT.  If  you consider them as your commerical leasing company know that it will take 3-6 months to get an answer.
