I purchased a bundle of DVD-R discs from Postalbay on Ebay. I paid $24.99 for the bundle, $13.98 for shipping and $2.50 insurance. Their description stated that they would select the best possible shipping method via UPS, FedEX or USPS for the product. Now I assumed that this meant the fastest and most reliable method. Wrong. It took 8 days to receive my package. Keep in mind that I am in Oregon, they are in California. Standard mail is 2 days and would have cost $8.50. UPS is 2 days and would have cost $11.40. Both of which give this company additional funds for packing/handling. When I received the package, I find out that it was shipped Media Mail at a cost of $2.50. Not only that, but it was packed in an old tea box, without any sort of packing material or anything. When I wrote to the company, I received a reply which stated that the additional $11.50 went to "packing and processing" of the order. I paid nearly 400% more for shipping than what they put out. Apparently PostalBay thinks they are a gas company and can screw the everyday buyer.
