I ordered posters from Posterpass.com, for the introductory price of $2 apiece. I understood that the price for additional posters would be $8 per poster, and would be shipped monthly. I realized that I would have to cancel this arrangement when I no longer wished to receive the product. However, I left for an eight week vacation, and returned home to find ten boxes of posters stacked in the bushes outside of my house.

Upon calling the number stamped on the outside of the box, I was informed that my account would immediately be canceled. I then asked about the terms of the account, and the representative told me that I had failed to read the information in the terms of agreement. He said that I was signed up to receive these shipments each week, and that the price was $48 for two posters.

I received a confirmation email saying that the account had been canceled, but there are still charges being made to my credit card for $48 a shipment. The company Home Arts Direct is also billing my card, though I have received nothing from them. The representative told me that I could receive my money back if I sent back the posters, but upon looking at the website, a receipt is required in order to receive a refund. I have received no receipts in these shipments.

This company is fraudulently taking money from unsuspecting customers, and should be stopped.
