Complaint Review: Posture Beauty

Posture Beauty Some Waranty...I think not, from the business that doesnt give a dam Calgary Alberta .....

I suppose after reading another persons rip-off report on this site, and realizing it sounds exactly like my encounter with the same company, it prompted me to write one myself. Me and my girlfriend needed a larger bed, we went to a local furnature store called UNITED FURNATURE WAREHOUSE here in Victoria, British Columbia. After looking at every bed in the store we decided on a POSTURE BEAUTY made by POSTURE PERFECT.

It was both resonably priced and included a 15 year waranty. Sounds good, hey? Wrong, after owning the bed for less than 6 months it began sagging and twisting. We put up with it for a while. After about 2 years we had enough. I went to United and complained, the person I talked to couldn't have been more helpful. He came to my house a few days later to measure the bed for sagging and said he would be contacting POSTURE PERFECT to see what they wanted to do about it (like I cared). Several months went by and I never heard anything. Aparently the companies 15 year waranty isn't 15 years at all.

Its pro-rated, which means if you have a waranty problem they offer you back some crappy little amount of credit on a new bed. So in other words, I gave them about 600 bucks the first time, they credit me about 300 back, so I can give them 600 more when I replace my bed that I thought was still under waranty. Hey folks, where I come from thats about 900 bucks, all for another crapy bed that will probably do the same thing again.
