Help, Please send me advice, rebuttals or help. Here is the scenario. We went to a Pottery shop that had advertised in the local paper. There was a rebate coupon included. It took about an hour to get a sales person. My wife ordered 2 fountains and bases from this store. The owner gave us a receipt. He did not honor the rebate coupon (false advertising). He said it would take 10 weeks to receive the merchandise. And then he would deliver both the fountains at once.

1. We waited for 10 weeks and then called, and called. The customer service was terrible and they would not return a call to us.

2. we waited past 16 weeks and the owner refunded one piece that had not arrived.

3. The owner said that we had to pay for the other piece because it had arrived at the store at some point. If we did not pick it up he would charge us 25.00 a day in storage fees.

4. We insisted on a full refund as the receipt had never said anything about storage fees and our contract was to have both fountains in 10 weeks.

5. we called AMEX and the owner sent a letter disputing our dispute. He stated just the opposite of us.

6. All we want is our money back for poor customer service and broken contract.

What can we do ??

Thank you,

dee
