Power Motors Power Motors Arlington Buyer Beware, The Repairs On My Purchase... $7,500 Arlington, Texas
I purchased a 2006 Ford F250 from Power Motors in Arlington. Greg Thompson was the sales person. This year Ford had some engine problems so I asked Greg if his truck had any of these problems and he said he paid for an inspection on the truck and the truck was fine.
When I arrived home with the truck I saw the coolant reservoir was empty. I called Greg and he stated they had removed the resevoir to replace a part and they did not refill it. I refilled the reservoir and when I drove the truck it puked the the coolant out of the reservoir. I replaced the radiator cap and the truck still puked coolant until the reservoir was empty.
I called Greg again and he said "don't worry, we have to fix it." I took the truck to a certified diesel mechanic. The engine had stretched head bolts, blown head gaskets, a clogged oil cooler, a ruptured egr cooler, a bad wiring harness, 6 bad injectors, and a warped turbo ring. Repairs cost me $7,500.
I contacted Greg and he requested the invoice. The repair shop sent Greg the repair bill. I waited 9 days for Greg of Power Motors to contact me. I called him and emailed him. 16 days after the invoice was sent I called him and he answered saying he never got the repair bill. I resent the repair bill and waited 2 days before contacting Greg. I have not heard back from him or from anyone from Power Motors and it has been over 3 weeks since the first bill was sent.
I hope that anyone who decides to purchase from this dealer will use extreme caution. I will never purchase from this dealer and I hope they never rip off anyone like they ripped me off. Please Beware!!!
