As part of a Palm One Trade-In program, I traded in my Palm Treo 650 for a $150 refund in early June 2006. The trems and conditions of the contract state that the $150 refund would be issued in 30 days from the return date. SInce I returned my Treo 650 on June 4th, I have not yet received my refund. After multiple calls to Palm One, Market Velocity and Power Trade, I have been given the run-around and no substatntial answer as to when or if my refund is being issued. I no longer have my Treo 650 or my refund money.

CEO Contact Information for PowerTrade

I had similar problems a couple years ago (Feb 2006) when I traded in a laptop through Market Velocity who uses PowerTrade as their vendor. After making a tremendously big stink and essentially came short of harrassing the people that answer the phones at PowerTrade, my call was finally put through to the CEO who to his credit, took care of the problem and overnighted me the money they had owed me since November, 2005!

If anyone has similar issues with PowerTrade, might I suggest they contact CEO Paul Robinson:
