Powerbrands offered a distributor program with 5 hour energy shots. The company used false articles on the web and even deceived the BBB of Wisconsin, who to this day does not see anything wrong with the company. The BBB does nothing to verify the validity of the company, such as verify the physical address. After purchasing a distributorship, Powerbrands delayed the set up of the stores purchased. Once a date was set to begin set up in the newly contracted stores, I purchased product through Powerbrands. After sending money, Powerbrands told me that the shipment would be delayed because the warehouse where the product was shipped from was on strike. After repeated phone calls without an answer, I contacted the manufacturer of 5 hour who told me this company was a scam and that they were targeting Florida and California. The names of these people at Powerbrands are Raymond Garrett, Daniel Baker, Daniel Pregont, Phillip Constantine, Sarah Mitchell, Brian Harrison, Alex Ullzoa, and many others. They use a virtual office and an answering service to take messages that are then forwarded to them by email. The authorities shut their website, www.pbs-distributing.com, down. When I tried to get my bank involved they said there was nothing they could do because the receiving company refused to send my money back. I left several messages with Powerbrands and I have not received a call back.
