Powerhouse Billiards ripoff paid for an Imperial pool table and still waiting Gilbert Arizona

On Saturday May 1, 2004 after seeing an add in a local paper my husband and I called the number to PowerHouse Billiards. We had been looking for a pool table, after going to a few dealers we decided to check this one out the price seemed to be what we were looking for in our budget.

When we got there we met with sales rep Mike Gunn. we looked around the store and we discussed the add in the paper. Mike told us about the tables and than said he had none in the store for us to see. He said that we would have to pick it out from the book he showed us. We told him we were waiting for our taxes so he made an invoice up to hold the sale price.

I was not happy ordering out of a book I am a person that likes to see what I am getting. We did not put anything down yet.

That week our tax return came in and we called up the store Mike said we would need 80% of the cost and to bring in a cashiers check.

We came into the store May 8, 2004, Mike came up to us and said they are no longer using the company we were ordering our table from and that some of the tables that we were to chose from were in the store. I was glad about that and that made me feel a lot better about this transaction.

We picked an Imperial pool table. The transaction went real smooth. We were told the table was going to be made and was coming from California. We asked how long it would take and Mike said about six weeks maybe sooner and to call in four weeks.

I called in four weeks June 5, 2004 and Mike said the table was there and had to be looked over and to call the following week and we should be able to set up delivery. I called back June 12, 2004 to set up delivery. We wanted a Saturday delivery and was told that would be no problem so I tried to schedule for the following Saturday and was told all booked than I said how about Sunday, that was booked too.

Mike said they can deliver June 27, 2004 between 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M., at about 12:30 I called to get an answering machine saying they were closed and would be opened on the 29th. We sayed home all day thinking maybe it was on a truck and still would be delivered. I left a message and got no return call.

On June 29, 2004 I called PowerHouse Billiards just to get another message, we are closed June 29th ane will be open June 30th. I have been researching this company with BBB and now you and the reports are not good.
Thinking now that we are getting Ripped off.
