When Prepaid Legal and Legal Shield were needed most they failed completely to the point of extreme gross negligence. This gross negligence caused irreparable harm, emotionally, physically and financially. The criminal attorney they referred us to was inept, unethical and totally incapable of handling the case. He was also mean and spiteful.

When we complained to Parker Stanbury and PrePaid Legal about his failure to perform and mishandling of the case they refused to offer any assistance whatsoever. The referred attorney Richard Staff violated the PrePaid Legal contract and did not provide any of the covered contractual services and neither did PrePaid Legal or Parker Stanbury. We lost thousands of dollars and were forced to borrow money to hire a new attorney outside the PrePaid Legal system. That attorney has had to start over completely due to the mess the PrePaid Legal attorney caused.

Not once in the almost 4 years of having PrePaid Legal have they helped with anything and almost landed me in prison for a crime I did not commit.

NEVER DEPEND ON THIS SERVICE IT IS WORTHLESS AND DOES NOT STAND BEHIND ANYTHING IN THE CONTRACT OR THE ATTORNEYS THEY REFER. Cheated and damaged clients should file a class action suit and stop this once and for all.

This is more for practical uses and not criminal. Definately because most the advice you'd receive is over the phone and if your in jail then you can't talk to them. Considering this person is talking of criminal charges-I'm sure all criminals say they're not guilty anyways.
