PreCash operates various debit cards such as Vision, Vision Premier, and the Reach Card. Apparently, due to a dispute with Bancorp Bank, the Reach Cards are being cancelled. PreCash induces consumers to load money on the cards then arbitrarily freezes the cards and keeps the money. It also does not process disputes.
PreCash is not a bank, but is merely a sales agent for Bancorp Bank, one of the largest issuers of prepaid cards. The monthly fee for the debit cards are extremely high compared to cards such as Walmart/Greendot and American Express Bluebird. However, the scariest thing is that they simply keep your money.
