On February 28, 2018 my car 's transmission gear slip from high gear so it was diagnosed by dealer for needing transmission repaired. I found this shop that rebuild the transmission was quoted for $1495 before vehicle was picked up. After vehicle was there, I was called transmission work would cost $3250 or paying $950 without a repair to let go. The shop first told me $1495 for repairing transmission then I told the repair shop I could not afford that price so I was offered $2750 to get it done (rebuild the transmission) so gave them a $500 deposit using my credit card. I let them to start working on the transmission although I felt that I was deceived at first by talking to the shop.  What I was told that price will take care of most parts inside of a transmission and car to be towed to the shop without mentioning any cost. In fact, they quoted one price, get your vehicle then jack the price up by $1750. After a week the shop guy by name AL told me the car was ready to pick up and will be no problem to drive on highway. We went to pick our car back near their shop closing around 6 pm. When we found the car transmission was not much improved and it was too late on that day. The repaired vehicle was very difficult to run above 60 miles per hour, frequently slipping off  transmission gear by making a hitting-a-bumper like sound, and thus car shakes simultaneously.  I have been calling the shop and have no response in terms of how and where to get it fixed. Now, repairing cost been paid and car is not safe to drive. I am not live in New Jersey and I don't know who will pay for car towing cost.
