I hired Randy Sauder to perform a home remodel which included hard wood floors, kitchen remodel and removal of a wall to open up the living/kitchen area. During the floor install he broke a bathroom tile.
Approx. five months after the remodel the floor started to buckle and the ceiling started to crack. I telephoned Randy and he came over to take a look. He said he would fix the broken tile and resand the floors. He never returned. He avoids messages and emails.
I had a contractor friend come look at my ceiling cracks. He got up in the attic and informed me that Randy had used inadequate material to reinforce the load bearing wall removal. The ceiling was literally about to come crashing down. I needed to have the area redone up to code to protect my home investment and my children while eating their meals.
Randy has let his license lapse and now sells Mona Vie. Based on my experience with Randy I believe that he is unethical, he refuses to correct problems in his work that he created and and he makes promises that he doesn't come through on. I had to pay someone else to correct the problems in Randy's workmanship. I will NEVER do business with him again and you should think twice before doing the same.
