This company is a joke. They also told me I signed up for them to steal from me. It took me nearly 20 minutes with their customer service rep. who hardly spoke English. Then when her supervisor got on the phone I knew the meaning of dumb and dumber. They told me they would credit me my money back but it would take 24 hours. They owe me close to $20 plus now. I explained I still am filing complaints with the better business bureau and consumer affirs. She begged me not to. I also threatened to sue them. Let's see what happens next.

Predicto.com is run by a company named NextWeb Media. Here is their address:

NextWeb Media
888 7th Avenue, 6th Floor
New York, NY 10019
www.nextwebmedia.com

telephone: 212-588-1180
fax: 212-588-1191

They also have an office in Plantation FL. They issue millions of advertisements in various popular websites like yahoo, google etc. Usually their advertisements would be very catchy like "you have won $50000" etc. When you click on it, it will ask for your cell phone number with legal disclaimer in a very small print. Once you give your cell phone number, you have legally agreed to enroll in their program which charges a monthly subscription fee.

Now, NextWeb Media is coming up with several web sites with different names, themes, concepts but all of them use the same business model. Flashy advertisement, you click on it and give the cell phone number, you are letting them charge your cell phone.
