Complaint Review: Predictomobile

Predictomobile billed for 9.99 on cell phone bill for unknown services. Don't even know what Predictomobile is or does. Internet

I noticed an additional charge on my cell phone bill this past month and in researching found the same 9.99 charged on last month as well. The cell phone bill indicated a subscription for predictomobile. I called my cell phone carrier to inquire and was told this is usually a text message confirmation and the charges could not be credited but the services could be discontinued. I was also told to send a message "stop" to the 654654 number to ensure no further billings would occur.

I still wasn't sure what predictomobile was so I got online and found others have had similar situations. I called the 800 number listed in one of the blogs and was told by predictomobiles customer service rep. that in order for the charges to be incurred there are several acceptance steps. If there were so many steps needed for this subscription I'm sure I would at least know what I was subscibing to. Well I'm still as confused as ever with how this subscription was done. After a lenthy conversation with this lady at predictomobile and getting no where other than to confirm the subsctription had been cancelled I hung up on her. The conversation was useless. All I can say at this point is I'm out 19.98 and I'm not the only person that has been billed for unknown services.

Obviously this is a cell phone scam and others need to be made aware.
