On June 12th 2012 my 83 year old mother, who lives in Ohio, met with a sales man from premier Baths, signed a contract thinking she was paying $4110.00 for this shower. After my sister read the contrct, the bathtub was going to cost $12000.00 after installation. My sister called the Company on June 15th and told them my mother and the family could not afford the tub and that we needed to cancel it. The woman said no problem she would pull the contact and for my sister  to send a letter that she wanted it cancelled. My sister tried to stop payment on the check but it was cashed on the 15th of june. By june 20th they had the letter. I was visiting my mother from July 7th till July 13th and she had not received her refund yet. She is waiting for it so she can have a company come in than can cut her exsisting tube to make it a walk-in shower. My mother has been in a nursing home for 6 moths due to having a bone repaired and her right knee repaced. She has only been out of the nursing home for 3 weeks. She is a very independent lady and very proud of being able to take care of herself. My sister called Premier Baths the week of the 2nd of July and they said the check was in the mail.I called them the week I was there and had to call them three times before I could get a real person to talk to me. His name was Brandon. he is the sales manager for Premier Baths. After a hour long conversation with him, his final answer was no refund. My mother will be given a line of credit for her $4110.00. in case she decides in the future to go foward with the project. Now she doesn't have the money to cut her tub and is stuck with a letter of credit from these vultures. I called the Attorney General of Ohio and filed a formal complaint with ther office.
