Premier Benefits - Buyer's Union - Call One ripoff Orange California
They call you early in the AM on the weekend and offer you a free coupon to spend at stores/mall/restaurant close to your location in exchange for shipping charge of $3.95. Once they obtain your information, they not only take $3.95 from your bank account but immediately take a membership fee of $19.95/month and $99.95 set up fee.
Upon your receipt of the package containing your "free coupon" (which does not exist), you have 10 days to terminate your "Risk-Free Review" otherwise they will take $19.95/month from your bank account. Not to mention, that when you give them your information, you also get memberships to other divisions of this business, i.e. Call-One, Buyer's Union. Therefore, if you cancel the one membership, you must cancel all three but they never tell you about all three.
I wrote certified letters of termination, demand letters and now am in the process of filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs of the State of California for the return of my $119.90, notwithstanding the non-refundable $3.95 shipping charges for worthless literature. Please beware.
