Recieved a call that I was choosen as one of 37 homes to recieve 200.00 gift coupon to any shopping mall or store expecially wal-mart because I was such a good shopper. The telemarketer stated I would also recieve a calling card good for 7 days.

All this would cost would be 3.95 cents for shipping by UPS. He confirmed my address and asked for my bank account number. I explained to him I do not give that out over the phone. He gave me a toll free number to call but stated I needed to give me the account number. Again I protested and he became agitated. He at that time told me I did not know anything about banking and he could not take anything more than what I approved. I told him I would call him back and if this was legal I would give him the number. He again became verbally agressive so I hung up.

I call the toll free number he gave to me and found out that what he was telling me was not correct, they were promoting gas cards and dining discounts. I reported the man's name and id number(if what he told me was true).

I also called Wal-Mart and reported this to them. I hope some one will read this and it will help. This took place in upstate NY.
