Premier Care in Bathing Installed walk-In bath tub South Daytona Florida
18 Months ago I had installed by Premier Care in Bathing (hereinafter "Premier") a "Haven" walk-in bath tub". To night while taking a spa bath, i was suddenly interrupted franticly by my sister that informed me water was leaking from my ceiling unto my sofa from the bathroom as she was watching televison. At which time the minutes on the agitator had ended. I looked over the tub. My bath rug was soaked and water covered the floor. Of course I had to wait until the water drained to investigate the situation down stairs. My sister had placed a garbage bag where the damage was taking place. I did my best to film my findings and placed a call to Premier. I called (800) 925-0865) but the number was busy.
I intended to call Premier with the following complaints:
(1) the panel on the outside of the tub does not remain shut. This complaint was given to the installer whom told me that during the summer months the panel will open from time to time; and that the tub swells in the winter and that would keep the panel in place. Its embrassing to know that the panel remains open all the time. I stopped shuting it;
(2) I was never pleased with the caulking around the tub. Its cheap. In some areas around the tub the caulking is seperating from the wall;
(3) the hardware is cheap. Rust forms around one of the safety bars;
(4) the toilet was never replaced properly and now I am subject to the water situation.
I only used the tub as a spa seven times since i had it. I made a terrible mistake entrusting my health to this "Ripoff". I am truly sick right now. I will file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
