These are preditors capatilizing on your emotional situation. Once they have access to your bank account, you will not receive a call back or talk to anyone. I got suckered into their scam and gave them my credit card number. Then I did a google search on their company and saw they were a scam. I immediately called Scott Williams (intake worker) and told him I would not be using their services, they were a scam and not to charge my account. My account was charged anyway (expedited), so I contacted Scott Williams back and he said accounting would call me...that call never came and good luck speaking with someone in accounting. Scott's excuse for the negative postings "we speak to thousands of parents each week, I'm sure the phone company has some unhappy customers that fall through the cracks."

In the meantime, they continued to call my son to complete their process of getting an agreement for the remainder $750-$850 (first it was $750, then it was between $750 & $850). They will say exactly what you want to hear, preying on your unfortunate situation. This is totally a scam. (There is nothing positive posted about this company).

They work as a tag team, you speak with the intake person to get the required $98 to begin the process; they tell you to wait 2 hours for a confirmation email before calling the case worker. The 2 hours gives them enough time to obtain the $98 from your bank and verify the charge is legit. Then you call the case worker who works to get an agreement for the remaining money.

Fortunately, I've been in constant contact with my bank and I will probably get my money back ($98), but not before having to go to the bank to dispute the charge, cancel my credit card and have my money tied up by these preditors for 10-15 days. I feel very bad for the people out of hundreds of dollars.

My advice-hire an attorney in your area. They usually know the judges and have leverage when you go to court. In the long run, you'll pay more, but you won't get scammed and be out of your money all together.
Good luck.

I made a mistake!!!

I made the mistake of referring someone to Father's Choice, thinking they would be helpful. I quite carelessly forgot to research the company before I handed off the link to their web site, and **I know better** !!! Fortunately, my friend was very sharp and checked them out and did not commit his credit card number. But he told me that right off the bat they asked for his credit card.

I just feel really bad about having suggested anyone use these scam artists without checking into it first. Thanks for this service. I appreciate it very much!

I disputed the charge by "Father's Choice" to my credit/debit card and was reimbursed the $98. I also cancelled my credit card so they no longer have my information.

I recommend contacting your financial institution, explain this is a scam and file a dispute form. Even if you file that you originally participated in the transaction(s), your bank/credit card company should be able to help get your money back; you may have to attach a letter explaining how/why you did not receive the expected services. (The complaints on this website should help.)

I filed an "unauthorized use" dispute, and with no questions asked, I received my money back in approximately 2 weeks.
