"Premier Fitness" Used To Be "Fitness Premier Ladies Fitness" Completely mislead and lied. Even with notes on contract said it was still binding. Miamisburg Ohio
Well, it happened like this. I had to move and my new place was not ready, so I stayed at a motel (Inn Towne Suites). I had plans to be there for about 2 months. Well, staying at "Premier Fitness" got me in the door half priced. Meaning I payed half-price for everything. My contract would change once I moved. I was told I had one month free to try out the place. Also, enlight I was planning to go to the military that is why I got my membership. To get in shape.
Anyways...was told one month free and at the end of the month I had to decide. There was no money paid whatsoever. I did fill out the contract with rep for what he said was "just so I could get a pass" instead of always having to keep the piece of paper. I asked that still means I have one month to decide? I was told yes. Now, about the military...ON THE ACTUAL CONTRACT written with pen it states that this contract will also be voided upon entry to the military.
Basically, I went, I tried out, I thought I owed no money cause I paid no money to start anything...and now I get called 2-3 times a day asking me to resolved a $1435 debt to them.
I tried that place for one week. It was mostly old people, and the younger guys that were there were body builders. No one there even fit my style of workout. I told Jeff via phone that I was not coming back and to end all attributes of my temporary-membership. He said it would be done. No problems. Well, that's not the case at all.
What can I do to stop this hit on my credit?
